My dad's been buzzing about this new toy he got! He ordered this new French foiling dinghy, the IODA Force, about two months ago, and it finally showed up last week.
He took it out for the first time on Tuesday, and he was absolutely thrilled!
I admit that it looks cool. The wind wasn't super strong, maybe 7 to 14 knots, but he was still able to get it foiling and was cruising at around 12 knots. He said it was incredibly stable, which is a huge relief.
This thing is a total blast. Has anyone else had a chance to try one of these out yet?
He's used to a traditional dinghy, so what are some of the key things he should be looking out for as he gets more hours on a foiling boat?
