Got into a conversation with the guys some days back about hull shapes lately and got stuck on how wild some of the design evolutions have been. Take the 49er, for example, that skiff is basically a rocket strapped to a trampoline, and it owes a lot of its personality to the bolt wing style hull. Flat, wide, slippery, and begging to be sent. I just find it cool, the power and fine edges that makes the 49er so addictive to watch
We talked bout others but this 49er got everybody up. I actually dont have one myself though, although very soon I hope
